Born during a November snowstorm on the Colorado Front Range, M grew up in and around the lovely Boulder, Colorado.

While studying English and Sociology at Colorado State University, M cofounded 'The Exquisite', a modest writing group that focuses on impromptu and collaborative writing, with small group critiques.

Now a resident of the great and damp state of Washington, M spends their time hiking, cooking, and reading with their partner and resident goblin (black cat), Cricket.
